Santiago has a combination of traits that make him a rare and wonderful teacher. He has an innate understanding of Spanish diction and grammar and its similarities and differences to English that allows him to explain or demonstrate Spanish usage clearly to a native English speaker. He thinks carefully about each class and tailors it to the individual language skills and needs of his students. He is patient and good-humored. He engages students in interesting conversation regardless of their level.

Plainly put, Santiago has a gift for teaching. My wife and I feel lucky to have had him as our teacher and to be able to claim his as our friend.
