I am a beginning student of Spanish and I have been taking private and small-group lessons on a weekly basis with Santiago Montero for about eight months. He is a wonderful teacher, combining great technical proficiency in the mechanics of teaching a foreign language with cultural depth and an engaging personal manner. Thanks to Santiago's careful selection of course materials and effective classroom presentation, I have made progress that I wouldn't have thought possible before beginning my studies with him. Moreover, I have a number of colleagues with various levels of Spanish proficiency who are also studying with Santiago. They, too, have been very favorably impressed.
